WHAT: Filmmaking CompetitionWHEN: August 29 - Sept. 5, 2012 WHERE: East Tennessee ENTRY FEE: $75 Early Registration Begins June 15, 2012 Only 30 Teams accepted. KICKOFF: August 29 SUBMIT YOUR FINISHED FILM: September 5 CHANGES FOR THIS YEAR! The 4th Annual Secret City Film Festival 7-Day Shootout is making some changes this year and we hope you are planning to join us for this great filmmaking competition! In addition to films being screened in our new festival venue (Regal Downtown West Cinema 8 in Knoxville), you can register beginning June 15, 2012. With your paid registration, you will receive 2 Full Festival Passes to the 9th Annual Secret City Film Festival. However, if you register early, you will definitely get some benefits! Let me explain. JUNE 15 – JULY 14 REGISTRATION In past years of the Shootout, at the Kickoff, you drew your genre and that’s it! However, with your paid registration between June 15 and July 14, at the Kickoff (August 29), you will draw THREE genres and you will be able to choose from one of those three. Cool, huh! JULY 15 – AUGUST 14 REGISTRATION With your paid registration between July 15 and August 14, at the Kickoff (August 29), you will draw TWO genres and you will be able to choose from one of those two. Not as good as the earliest registration, but still pretty cool! AUGUST 15 - 29 REGISTRATION The same as in past years of the Shootout. At the Kickoff (August 29), you draw your genre and that’s it!
